In November 2018, Coach Andrea, Coach Neil Garner, Josie, and 14 other all-star cheer athletes in Denham Springs, LA, teamed up to form the Next Level All Stars. They called themselves the Legends and what they accomplished together over the course of the next 5 months will forever be remembered as truly, legendary.

Starting in December, with only 6 weeks to get ready for their first competition, they ordered uniforms, learned a routine and then hit it for the first time the night before they competed it--and this was just after a devastating injury to one of the original team members the night before that. 

It proved to be only the beginning of a whirlwind season with numerous obstacles, exhilarating triumphs, miraculous wins and heartbreakingly close losses.

The weeks of grinding practices, the thrills of competition and the memorable personal moments shared between the Legends of Next Level culminated in one magical and amazing experience at the 2019 D2 Summit in DisneyWorld in Orlando, FL. The girls and coaches were all seasoned veterans of the event, having gone every year since its' inception. However, this would be the first year they ever made it to finals and it was a dream come true! They moved out of the Wild Card round and ended up in 14th in the entire country in the Small Senior 2 division. There was no better way to end such a perfect and exciting season.

From this team, Next Level Athletics is born. In honor of the passion, hard work and tenacity of the Legends, their fans and their families that loved and supported them, Andrea and Josie have chosen to carry on the tradition of excellence with Next Level Athletics in Youngsville, LA.
